Help!!! I'm being driven crazy by a Wiki!!!

Thank you all so much for your awesome advice about how to tackle all my library woes!

Next challenge: I need Wiki-creation 101! I'm trying to create a wiki that will serve as my online newsletter for my library and the wiki is being a butthead.

I had envisioned a homepage with four maybe five 'tiles' or little snippits of subjects (ie "Great New Reads" and "Author Spotlight" and "In the Library", etc.) and I'd planned to have these… Continue

One thing that keeps coming back to me is the need for collaboration. Sharing ideas! I guess that is where blogging can continue to be a learning tool. I have learned a lot from my instructors and fellow students in these courses. I hope to build a community at my school district of like minded… Continue

ISTE Reflections

This past week I was lucky to have the opportunity to attend the ISTE conference in Denver. It was a productive three days filled with interesting presentations and many creative and thought-provoking applications of technology in education to help students and teachers.

For me, the highlight of the conference came on Monday when I attended a presentation by David Warlick on "Cracking the 'Native' Information Experience." Warlick writes one of the few educational…
