21st Century Literacies

The Shift to 21-st Century Literacies, by Lorna Collier, is actually an exciting article to read, and that's coming from someone who has resisted the push for technology integration into the classrooms. Being that I have never really been technologically savvy, I rarely took advantage of all of the new technologies that were currently out there. About Me:
I am a married mother of three. I have an 19 year old daughter, and 15 year old daughter and a 14 year old son. I have been teaching middle school language arts for 16 years, and am currently embarking on my first year as a teacher/librarian, at Rocky Top Middle School, in Adams 12. I am in the final stages of my endorsement at CU Denver, and though stressful at times, haved loved every minute. My hobbies include watching my kids compete, camping, boating, scrapbooking and relaxing on my deck with a good magazine and a Diet Coke.

"Best of the Best" Homeless Bird, by Gloria Whelan
