Kim Ackerman and I wish to welcome you to this dynamic course for teacher-librarians! We are excited to help you learn these great tools and ideas to use with teachers and students. This course will be team taught: Phil Goerner will be your guide for the first few weeks and Kim Ackerman will take you through the end. We have tried to design the course to contain as many "real library life" applications as we can fit in and hope you find it as interesting as we do!

As we get started this summer, we will be posting information about the midterm choice assignments and final assignment under the Course Home tab along with this summer's syllabus.
Please read through these items to have an idea of what to expect over the next jam packed five weeks. Also- it is very important that you plan now for the time it will take to be successful in this course.

Make sure to read and carefully consider the time involved as described in Class Requirements. If you have any questions send us an email at profgoerner@gmail.com and profackerman@hotmail.com.

Face to face time June 12th 5-8pm & June 13th 8-12 noon; and June 29th 5-8pm & June 30th 8-12 noon. FYI: we will have one scheduled online office hour using an Adobe Connect online meeting room but can arrange for more if necessary. Please make a note of the time: June 24th 9-11 am.

A reminder with more information about log in and protocol will follow. Phil G
