Here is my collaborative lesson plan using Newbery Medal winning books.  This is a choice book unit, best for the end of the school year.  The unit ends with an interactive book report (with specific guidelines) using Glogster.  Enjoy!

My collaborative lesson focuses on narrative writing for 3rd grade. Students are first introduced to a variety of stories that exemplify solid use of story elements, then they collaborate with other students and use digital storytelling applications to generate ideas for their own narratives. Finally, students write and illustrate their own narratives and share the final products with their classmates.
